How to use SSB antenna coupler for DSC routine frequency receive<br />
To use the SSB antenna coupler for routine watch keeping, the following modification is<br />
necessary.<br />
Note: When transmitting, DSC routine frequency cannot be received.<br />
1. Open the transceiver unit.<br />
2. Remove the shield cover from the TX FIL Board (05P0736).<br />
3. Cut the jumper JP2 on the TX FIL Board.<br />
4. Solder the jumper wire to JP1.<br />

5. Disconnect the coaxial cable from J3, and then reconnect it to J10.<br />
6. Remove the shield cover of the W/R2 Board (05P0734A).<br />
7. Run the cable assy. with mini-pin (L-500) between J7 on TX-RX Board and J4 on W/R 2<br />

8. Run the cable assy. with mini-pin (L-770) between J9 on the TX-FIL Board and J2 on the<br />
W/R 2 Board.<br />
9. Remount the shield cover, and then close the transceiver unit cover.<br />
