Green IP Video By MOBOTIX
This modern, network-based video security technology offers numerous options for
improved energy efficiency. Thanks to the unique product and system properties,
choosing a MOBOTIX video system means choosing Green IP Video: low power
consumption, better for the environment as fewer materials are used, and a long
service life is guaranteed.
Economical: MOBOTIX cameras are supplied cost-effectively via PoE. Not only does this lower
the energy costs, it also reduces the need for copper and other important raw
materials because less cabling is required.
Robust: MOBOTIX cameras are extremely weather resistant and can operate in a
temperature range from -30 to +60°C (-22°F to +140°F) without the need for
energy-consuming heating or an additional protective housing.

One Camera, Two Lenses.
Seeing More Is Possible.
The latest 5 megapixel image sensor technology ensures
brilliant 2 x 3MEGA dual images. Thanks to its enhanced
light sensitivity, the camera produces significantly clearer
color images also in low light conditions. At night, one
single new 5MP black and white sensor can produce live or
recorded HiRes images of up to 3.1 megapixel (compared
to D14D with 1.3 megapixel).
Smooth HiRes Video Streams
The optimized hardware of the D15 ensures that especially at high
resolution, the video streams are transmitted even more smoothly than
the already high-performance D14. Since image streams of 16 frames per
second and higher are perceived as fluid video by the human eye, the maximum
frame rate is limited to 30 fps (when using a MEGA resolution of 1280x960) in order
to provide sufficient processor performance for other tasks.
High-Quality Color Images Even In Low Light Conditions
The more light sensitive the image sensor, the higher the image quality, even in low light conditions,
such as at dusk or during heavy rain. Thanks to a 5 megapixel color sensor that is four times more
light-sensitive than the existing 3.1 megapixel color sensor, the D15 delivers the highest image quality
currently offered by MOBOTIX.

With the S15D FlexMount, two 5MP sensor modules featuring microphones are
connected to a concealed camera housing via cables of up to two meters
long for each module (total 4 m). Two adjacent rooms can be discreetly
monitored with just one camera.

The new 5MP technology offers greater maximum zoom than 3.1 megapixel sensors. Image detail
is improved by 27 percent. A camera with a 5 megapixel sensor not only produces better images, it
can also be positioned even further away from the monitored buildings and areas. As a result, the
cameras can be installed in places that are optimally protected from unauthorized access.
Black And White Resolution Now Up To 3.1 Megapixel
The new cameras D15, S15, M15 are the world‘s first MOBOTIX cameras that also feature a 5 megapixel
night sensor, which produces black and white images of up to 3.1 megapixel. This sensor produces
significantly larger images than the current 1.3 megapixel sensor, with the added advantage of improved
detail enlargement thanks to the digital zoom feature.
MxActivitySensor
New Motion Detection Sensor
The MxActivitySensor is an activity-controlled, softwarebased
image analysis function for detecting movement
of people and objects in a monitored area (full image
or section). Unlike existing video motion sensors, which
detect all events in the defined motion windows, the
MxActivitySensor is very easy to configure and delivers
reliable results, even in applications with large amounts
of external interference. For example, the camera now
distinguishes between movements of vehicles, people
or objects that trigger an alarm and movements that are
not relevant for alarms, such as shadows, changes in
illumination, trees swaying in the wind or rain directly at
the lens.
What Is Detected?
The sensor detects objects or people that cross the defined
monitored area or move toward or away from the camera.
The MxActivitySensor will be available in May free of charge
via a simple firmware update for current MOBOTIX cameras
excluding the M12 (activation in Web browser).

successful MOBOTIX dual camera features interchangeable
sensor modules as well as the latest MOBOTIX system
technology. As a result, it remains totally unique in terms of

MOBOTIX dual cameras that are over 10 years old are still performing
reliably in every possible climatic condition around the world. As a
powerful successor to the original, the M15 is a weatherproof (IP66),
versatile, modular all-round solution “Made in Germany” that represents
an important milestone in the successful history of MOBOTIX products.
PIR
As decentralized complete video systems, MOBOTIX cameras have much more to offer than
conventional network cameras. In addition to the new 5MP image sensors, the M15 features
integrated environment sensors (PIR, outside temperature, vibration sensor), speaker and
microphone for two-way communication based on the SIP standard, long-term memory, free
video management software and a preassembled VarioFlex mount. The weatherproof MxBus
and MiniUSB interfaces allow for direct connection of MOBOTIX interface boxes and standard
devices such as UMTS modules, additional memory, etc.
More Flexible Selection Of Lenses
With the M15, one or two separately available MOBOTIX
sensor modules (lens plus sensor board and
microphone) can be replaced at any time are used
in the M15 core camera module. Twelve different
sensor modules are available: Six focal lengths
from telephoto to hemispheric, each available in
day or night versions. With the Day&Night models
with day and night sensors, the camera switches off to
the appropriate sensor depending on the lighting conditions
automatically.
Brilliant Images Day And Night
The latest 5 megapixel technology ensures brilliant, 3.1 megapixel large HiRes images, with improved
live digital zoom and increased light sensitivity so that significantly clearer color images are always
produced, even at dusk and dawn. At night, one single black and white sensor module also produces
high-resolution images up to 3 megapixel. If both sensor images are displayed or recorded at the
same time, the M15D delivers dual images up to 6 megapixel.
