Purpose of Job
We are seeking for a Java developer with a proven track record of designing and implementing enterpriselevel
architectures that support critical business processes within large and complex applications.
The main tasks / responsibilities
• Develop trading and other in house applications;
• Participate in all parts of the development life cycle;
Professional expertise
It is essential that the post holder possess:-
• At least 3years experience using application server environments to build enterprise level multi
tiered applications.
• Successful implementation experience with J2EE and Web Service, with a working knowledge of
persistence and performance issues.
• Minimum of a bachelor degree in Computer science or related subject;
• Experience and expertise in multi threaded, multi tiered , heavy throughput system;
• Experience in Legacy code maintenance
• Proven expertise in Core Java, Java EE frameworks, MySQL/Oracle, Web Services, JSP and at
least one application server, Service Orientated Architecture (SOA), MQ;
• Experience in the following frameworks would be advantageous: Spring, hibernate, GWT.
• Strong object-oriented analysis and development skills;
• Excellent communication and teamwork skill;
It is desirable that the post holder:-
• Has experience with XML, FIX protocol and Linux/Unit;
• Is self-motivated and willing to work in an energetic, fast paced and team oriented development
environment.
• Experience from an investment banking background or online gaming environment would be ideal
