Introduction<br />

The 2013 Victorian <strong>Cherry</strong> <strong>Conference</strong> is open<br />

to all <strong>Cherry</strong> <strong>Growers</strong> and those interested in<br />

supporting the <strong>Cherry</strong> Industry.<br />

The <strong>Conference</strong> has been designed to learn from the<br />

past season and be ready to change and adapt to the<br />

future, embracing new concepts, technologies and<br />

methodologies which can then be implemented on farm.<br />

The <strong>Conference</strong> will be a combined seminar,<br />

tradeshow & field day.<br />

Registration covers all the above including meals on<br />

the day but does not include the <strong>Conference</strong> Dinner.<br />

The Barooga Sports Club is located just across<br />

the border and Murray River into NSW. Located<br />

under 10km from Cobram Victoria township.<br />

The Cobram/Barooga area is home to some of the<br />

most picturesque sections of <strong>Australia</strong>’s mightiest<br />

river, the Murray.<br />

Cobram/Barooga is in Victoria’s north east in<br />

the centre of the food bowl, about 241km from<br />

Melbourne, 139km from Albury Airport.<br />

Shepparton is the largest and closest major town<br />

which is located 56km south of Cobram/Barooga.<br />

Hugh Dendy, a cherry grower in both British Columbia and New Zealand, a<br />

favourite speaker with growers at international conferences. He learns about<br />

cherries faster than most of us by having two cherry seasons a year.<br />
