Product Description<br />
<strong>Oilibya</strong> Transformer Oil is a high quality mineral uninhibited insulating oils with very good dielectric properties and oxidation stability intended for<br />
transformers, switchgears and other electrical equipment.<br />
<strong>Oilibya</strong> Transformer Oil meets the following specifications: IEC 60296:2003 – 11, 3rd Edition Standard Specification, ASTM D1275B (Doble’s modified)<br />
Test requirement for <strong>co</strong>rrosive sulphur, NRS 079-1:2004 and Eskom Specification 32-406 for transformer classes B, C, D, E, F, G & H.<br />
Features and Benefits<br />
• Free from wear even at low temperatures.<br />
• High resistance to thermal and chemical degradation in the presence of iron and <strong>co</strong>pper.<br />
• Excellent low pour point.<br />
Application<br />
• In oil filled transformers and switchgears in which the oil is required as an insulation medium or as a heat transfer medium.<br />
• Applications specifying IEC 60296 -03 (U) and reinforced <strong>co</strong>pper <strong>co</strong>rrosion protection (pass ASTM D1275B <strong>co</strong>rrosion test).<br />
• Suitable for use in oil filled cables, for special impregnation processes or for use in capacitors.<br />
