Have Fun!<br />
Our leagues are designed to provide a competitive<br />
golf environment for golfers of all skill levels.<br />
However, the main objective of our leagues is for<br />
everyone to have fun while enjoying the golf<br />
course <strong>and</strong> partaking in some friendly camaraderie<br />
with both their current friends, <strong>and</strong> possible future<br />
friends. For the enjoyment of all participants, the<br />
USGA Pace of Play rating of 1 hour 53 minutes will<br />
be enforced +/- ten minutes for all groups.<br />
2013 <strong>League</strong>s<br />
The Ponds at Battle Creek is dedicated to<br />
providing quality golf programs to all of our<br />
customers. Our goal is to maximize your<br />
enjoyment while visiting our facility.<br />
Our leagues emphasize having a good time<br />
while participating in a competitive golf<br />
environment <strong>and</strong> meeting new people.<br />
Every level of golfer is welcome to<br />
participate in our leagues. Participants are<br />
expected to practice good golf etiquette <strong>and</strong><br />
have a general underst<strong>and</strong>ing of the rules of<br />
golf.<br />

2013 Women’s <strong>League</strong><br />
Format <strong>and</strong> Information<br />
What: 9 Hole Women’s <strong>League</strong><br />
Who: Women age 19 <strong>and</strong> older<br />
When: Tuesday nights, May 14 thru<br />
August 13. Tee times will start at 5:00 PM<br />
each week. Tee times will be set for 12 of<br />
the 14 weeks, so you play at the same<br />
time those weeks. Weeks 7 <strong>and</strong> 14 you<br />
will have a different tee time. “Mixer”<br />
Scramble will be June 18, <strong>League</strong> Championship<br />
will be weeks 13 & 14. <strong>League</strong><br />
Chair will re-pair groups within flights for<br />
week 14 only.<br />
Cost: $384.00 includes:<br />

USGA Rules govern all play.<br />
Weekly games will be played using<br />
net scores based on your USGA<br />
h<strong>and</strong>icap.<br />
Different games will be played each<br />
week.<br />
Players are not eligible for net event<br />
prizes until they have established a<br />
USGA h<strong>and</strong>icap (requires the posting<br />
of five 18-Hole scores).<br />
Prizes will be awarded in pro shop<br />
credit redeemable for pro shop<br />
merch<strong>and</strong>ise only.<br />
All credits expire on August 31,<br />
2013.<br />
Groups of two or<br />
more players can<br />

together, upon<br />
request, for 12 of<br />
the 14 weeks.<br />

Weather<br />
In most cases, league will be played rain or<br />
shine. If weekly play is cancelled by the<br />
<strong>League</strong> Chair, all players will be issued a<br />
rain check. Missed play due to weather<br />
will not be made up.<br />
Play will be cancelled by 4:00 PM. Call<br />
the pro shop after 4:00 PM for a voicemail<br />
notification of league cancellation.<br />
