<strong>Camera</strong>s can be mounted directly to the <strong>NETNodeTCS</strong><br />
node using a generic plate, or operated remotely using<br />
the supplied 3m umbilical cable for maximum<br />
deployment flexibility.<br />
Integral battery life can be extended by the connection<br />
of sensors to automatically wake the <strong>NETNodeTCS</strong><br />
from sleep mode in the event of trigger activity.<br />
Control is ensured by using the on board status display<br />
that gives at-a-glance MESH status, signal strength<br />
and battery life. More advanced control is available<br />
using the web-browser interface, or from Mission<br />
Commander.<br />
<strong>NETNodeTCS</strong> fitted with camera fitted<br />
Cobham’s NETNode <strong>Tactical</strong> <strong>Camera</strong> <strong>System</strong><br />
(<strong>NETNodeTCS</strong>) is the latest innovation in the<br />
expanding range of Cobham <strong>Tactical</strong> Communications<br />
and Surveillance solutions.<br />
The <strong>NETNodeTCS</strong> system is a rapid deployment IP<br />
MESH camera system, which incorporates a mesh<br />
radio, IP encoder and battery into a robust chassis,<br />
designed to meet IP66. <strong>NETNodeTCS</strong> nodes are fully<br />
compatible with the entire range of Cobham cameras,<br />
including HD, making them the ideal rapid deployment<br />
PTZ solution.<br />
The robust weatherproof package of the <strong>NETNodeTCS</strong><br />
is suitable for long term outdoor deployment.<br />
<strong>NETNodeTCS</strong> radios can be combined in a fluid selfforming,<br />
self-healing mesh containing up to twelve<br />
radios. The NETNode radios within the mesh exchange<br />
data on a single frequency, simplifying frequency<br />
management. The entire mesh occupies just 2.5MHz of<br />
bandwidth (3.0, 3.5, 5.0 and 6.0MHz also available).<br />
The NETNode radio employs the unique Cobham<br />
COFDM modulation scheme and therefore offer<br />
excellent RF penetration and performance in the<br />
presence of multipath. The NETNode mesh radios can<br />
provide up to 6.0Mb/s of IP data (data rate depends<br />
on mode, number of nodes and range between<br />
nodes). This available IP data rate can be used to<br />
exchange IP data traffic between nodes. The highly<br />
flexible mesh topology means that data can be<br />
exchanged between nodes in a point-to-point or multipoint<br />
fashion; range can be extended by using nodes<br />
as repeaters.<br />
Security of the entire mesh network can be ensured by<br />
the use of the optional AES128 or AES256 encryption.<br />
The <strong>NETNodeTCS</strong> is supplied with an integral 1W<br />
amplifier and will typically operate at a range of up to<br />
1km in the 1W mode.<br />
The Cobham <strong>NETNodeTCS</strong> system is ideal for<br />
surveillance, perimeter security, fire control and CBRN<br />
applications.<br />
The <strong>NETNodeTCS</strong> is supplied in a kit with a tripod for<br />
rapid deployment, or can easily be pole mounted.<br />
Alternatively the IP66 chassis allows the <strong>NETNodeTCS</strong><br />
to simply stand alone on its base.<br />
