Chewton Glen provides the ideal Country House setting for weddings and is recognised as one
of the finest wedding venues in England.
We can accommodate up to 140 guests for a wedding banquet and 150 for a wedding
ceremony or drinks reception.

service, from your first enquiry to the moment your guests wave you goodbye, as you set off
together into your new life.
Chewton Glen is licensed with Hampshire County Council and The New Forest District Council
for Civil Ceremonies and we can arrange for the vows to be taken within the intimacy and
comfort of one of the private lounges, a luxurious master suite or from August 2012 in our
soon to be built Walled Garden.

The Lake Suite (Civil Ceremony & Wedding Breakfast)
Has its own private entrance and wonderful terrace overlooking the gardens and parkland. A
beautiful function room the Lake Suite has lots of natural daylight via full length French doors,
a large built in back projection screen (should you wish to use it for those all important
speeches!) and a separate lounge area.
The Lake Suite can be split into three sections accommodating up to 150 guests for a
ceremony and 140 for a wedding breakfast.
The Lake Suite can also be used for evening entertainment and dancing with the use of a hard
floor dance area that can be installed. Please note we are unable to allow dancing and evening
entertainment unless the twelve rooms that surround the Lake Suite have been reserved for
the use of guests attending your wedding. A minimum two night stay applies at weekends.

WEDDING ACCOMMODATION
As twelve hotel bedrooms and suites are close to the Lake Suite, we are unable to allow
dancing and evening entertainment, unless these rooms have been reserved for the use of
guests attending your wedding.
The twelve rooms comprise 9 Junior Suites and 3 Bronze Rooms with Shower.
Special Master Suite rates are available for the wedding couple. Please ask our wedding coordinator
for more information.

Chewton Glen can be “Exclusively Yours” for the ultimate Wedding and guarantees total
privacy of the main hotel with the restaurant and lounge areas being closed to non-residents,
private rooms as well as use of all bedrooms and suites. The Exclusive use is based on the
intended day of arrival and includes the following:

Occupancy (70 Rooms and Suites including 12 Tree House Suites from Summer 2012)
