The <strong>Center</strong> <strong>for</strong> <strong>Puppetry</strong> <strong>Arts</strong> volunteer Program is<br />
comprised of more than 50 enthusiastic and diverse<br />
volunteers who touch lives through the art of puppetry.<br />
Whatever your interests or background, we can find a fun<br />
opportunity <strong>for</strong> you here at the <strong>Center</strong>. in return <strong>for</strong> your time, you’ll enjoy a one-ofa-kind<br />
volunteer experience while working in an interesting environment with great<br />
people. volunteers are involved in museum, Education, library, house management,<br />
birthday Parties, Administration, Special Events, and more.<br />

Xperimental <strong>Puppetry</strong> Theater (XPT) is a program that offers professional and emerging<br />
artists the opportunity to explore and experiment, creating original puppet theater<br />
geared to adult audiences. Applications are accepted <strong>for</strong> Project Directors with their<br />
own shows, or individual members available to participate in different pieces as a<br />
per<strong>for</strong>mer, musician, puppet builder, etc. Proposed pieces must be under ten minutes<br />
and can feature a myriad of puppetry styles. We also accept applications <strong>for</strong> short<br />
puppet fi lms and puppetry-themed art installations. Funding, rehearsal space, and<br />
limited production assistance are provided, as available.<br />
Application deadline is February 1, <strong>2013</strong>.<br />

to school and community groups. Children who might not otherwise have the opportunity<br />
are able to experience a live theatrical puppet show, tour our museum Exhibits, or make a<br />
puppet of their very own!<br />
