SP-5 LIFT REQUIREMENTS FOR PORTIONS OF WORK THAT REQUIRE A LIFT: The contractor<br />
is responsible for obtaining a lift to accomplish the work. Contractor shall notify IAA by<br />
calling the Project Manager at 317-487-5046 at least 24 hours (Monday through Friday)<br />
before lift is delivered to the site or removed from the site.<br />
SP-6 TAKEOFFS FOR RETURN DUCTS: New takeoffs will need to be installed on the main<br />
return duct for connection of new ducted return grilles.<br />
SP-7 SCHEDULE AND SUBMITTALS: Project Schedule and Submittals to be provided by<br />
contractor no later than 7 calendar days after Notice to Proceed. Project schedule must<br />
include Phasing or Sequence of Construction.<br />
SP-8 CONTRACT TIME: Contract will begin upon notice to proceed and extend through<br />
sixty (65) calendar days from the starting date noted in the Notice to Proceed. The time<br />
limit stated includes time required for delivery of all material and equipment. Work on site<br />
shall not exceed 35 days.<br />
No work shall be performed during the moratorium period for Brickyard 400. The<br />
moratorium period for Brickyard 400 begins July 26, 2012 at 7:00 a.m. and ends July 30,<br />
2012 at 12 p.m. No adjustment will be made to the contract period for moratoriums.<br />
SP-9 WORK HOURS: Work will be performed Monday through Friday between 7:00 am and<br />
6:00 pm from the starting date noted on the Notice to Proceed, except for work on the<br />
overhead duct in the main hallway. Work on the overhead duct (Alternate 2) in main hallway<br />
shall be performed starting no earlier than 10:00 pm daily on a Monday through Friday and<br />
concluding no later than 6:00 am local time the following day. Work schedule and sequence<br />
of work must be approved by IAA in advance.<br />
SP-10 WAGE RATES: Prevailing wage rates will not be required for this project under<br />
Indiana law.<br />
SP-11 MBE / WBE: The <strong>Indianapolis</strong> <strong>Airport</strong> Authority is very interested in achieving<br />
maximum levels of disadvantaged, minority and woman-owned business participation<br />
throughout the development and construction of the New <strong>Indianapolis</strong> <strong>Airport</strong>.<br />
Good faith efforts, as defined in Appendix A of 49 CFR part 23, Regulations of the Office of<br />
the Secretary of Transportation, are expected and will be verified to insure compliance with<br />
these requirements. Locations of Vendor Lists were provided in the quote documents as well<br />
as locations on the internet where the lists may be downloaded.<br />
