Features and benefits
Engineered for long life and accuracy—Constructed
of stainless steel or aluminum alloy selected for consistent
material properties and high strength. Resists
corrosion, fatigue and performance deterioration.
Compact size—Inherent strength of construction
materials allows the dynamometer body, the instrument’s
load element, to be compact and light weight, resulting in
minimal loss of headroom.
Select the display type that you need—Select an
indicating unit with .9-inch LCD, or a non-indicating unit.
Both models are compatible with optional remote displays.
Digital signal conditioning and compensation—
Microprocessor system incorporates an eleven-point
linearization function and digital temperature compensation.
Achieves a 0.1% of rated capacity accuracy.
Selectable units of measure—Automatically
converts between pounds, kilograms, kiloNewtons, and
metric tons. Saves selected unit of measure when power
is switched off.
No protruding parts—Rounded ends, recessed
access panels, no external switches to bump and damage.
Fully configurable from keyboard—From the
face of an indicating unit or from one of the optional
remote control / displays, operators can select peak hold
function, units of measure, filtering level, RS-232 or RS-
485 outputs, method of data transmission, baud rate.
Automatic storage of critical device information—Each
ED-2000 provides automatic data storage of
last calibration date, traceability, serial numbers and
overload data. Crucial for ISO 9000 inspections and
internal audits.
Battery powered—Uses a standard 9V battery.
Easy to source. Easy to replace.
Sleep mode—Programmed to optimize battery life.
The microprocessor sleeps the majority of the time, even
while the LCD continuously displays the current value.
Options
Hand-held HR-2000 Remote Control Display—
Connects to the serial port of any ED-2000 via a quick
disconnect cable. Use it for remote configuration of the
ED-2000 and as a convenient readout for either indicating
or non-indicating instruments.
NEMA 4X HR-2000 Remote Control / Display—
Machined aluminum enclosure. Sealed to NEMA 4X and
IP66
standards against dust, water and corrosive agents. Can
be
desk-top or wall mounted.
Remote Scoreboard Display—Consult factory for
your application.
Radio Link—Wireless radio transmission to
remote display.
Antennas—Choose from flexible whip, standard
stubby, remote suction cup mount, and remote magnetic
mount.

a passive Surface Acoustical Wave filter, leading
