The Board has approved hiring of a security company to patrol<br />
Berkshire 7 nights a week. Please continue to call the Sheriff’s<br />
department at 713-221-6000 to report any unusual activity.<br />
Additional filler landscaping has been installed along Highway 6<br />
and the Eaton Glen entrance to Berkshire.<br />
Landscape up-lighting will be installed to enhance the clubhouse<br />
exterior and the entrance to Berkshire.<br />
Construction for the Volleyball court has begun.<br />
Lighting for the walking trail will be installed in the near future.<br />
Provisions are being made to keep the area clear of trash that<br />
accumulates at the Southeast corner of the neighborhood on the<br />
Hwy 6 frontage, where the Addicks Satsuma light is.<br />
The pool house expansion project is complete. Details will be sent<br />
to homeowners with instructions for usage. Enjoy!<br />
Berkshire is a crime stoppers community. Please report any<br />

The Board has approved a new reduced Homeowners Association<br />
fee of $650 effective January 1st, 2007. Contact PCMI account<br />

The Board has approved replacing the dying trees along both sides<br />
of Berkshire Manor Lane with Bald Cypress and Live Oak trees.<br />
No pine trees will be replanted.<br />

Deputies have been hired to monitor the tennis courts and<br />
vandalism in Berkshire. If you notice unusual activity in the<br />
community please report all details to the Sheriff’s dispatch at<br />
713-221-6000. Tennis courts are for the exclusive use of playing<br />
tennis only. Violators will be prosecuted for damages and repairs.<br />
If you know the address of the violators, please email myla@pcmius.com<br />
and we will forward the repair bills to the violators.<br />
Additional landscaping has been installed at the Eaton Glen<br />
entrance of Berkshire.<br />
Berkshire will be sprayed for mosquitoes during late night hours<br />
during the spring and summer months.<br />
Additional pool equipment was purchased to accommodate the<br />
increased activity at the community pool.<br />
The Landscaper is diligently working to address some of the<br />
common long-term concerns that we have all shared. We are<br />
happy to have JH Plantscapes as a member of the Beautification<br />
Team for Berkshire. Please be patient as it will take some time<br />
to shape things up.<br />

• Cypress Contracting has been commissioned by the Association<br />
to power wash and stain the fence to beautify our community.<br />
The fences are power washed and then stained with a high<br />
quality stain and wood protector. Cypress has been working<br />
with Berkshire since the beginning, and has been contracted<br />
by the Developer to help keep our community clean in the new<br />
construction areas. In the interest of keeping consistency and<br />
continuity in the neighborhood, the contractor is offering a low rate<br />
on power washing and staining any residential fence to match the<br />
community fence. If you are interested, contact Janet McCauley<br />
at 281-844-6201. Cypress Contracting also offers a variety of<br />
other services including landscape design, lawn care, irrigation,<br />
home remodeling, etc. They are fully insured.<br />
• If you want to stain your own fence, stain description is TWO101<br />
CEDARTONE. It is manufactured by Total Wood Protector<br />
(TWO) and may be purchased at ICI Paints. They have several<br />
locations in Houston and their website is www.icipaints.com.<br />
This is not a Kelly Moore product and Kelly Moore paint is no<br />
longer carried in Houston.<br />
• NOTE: An architectural review form should be submitted to the<br />
Board and approved before proceeding.<br />
• Stop Signs have been installed at the intersection of Berkshire<br />
Manor Lane and Timber Creek by Harris County Precinct 3 to<br />
help control traffic. Please report street signs or street maintenance<br />
issues to HC Precinct Three (3) at (281) 463-6300<br />
• New Contact for Tennis Court Keys - Keys will only be available<br />
from Pat Huges at PCMI.- 281-870-0585 x1349. Thank you!<br />
• Berkshire continues to be patrolled by the Harris County Sheriff’s<br />
Department to catch and deter violators of speeding and other<br />
traffic offenses. Obtain license plate numbers and descriptions<br />
and report safety and security concerns to Sheriff’s department<br />
