distributed free of charge by email in Andorra usually on the 2 nd , 12 th and 22 nd of each month.
INTERNATIONAL SINGERS' CHRISTMAS CONCERT
Wednesday 21st December probably at 1.15pm at Illa Carlemagne a short Christmas concert to cheer on
the shoppers.

ADVENT HOLY COMMUNION – Our dear friend The Reverend Canon Ray
Jones (now retired to the Isle of Wight) is returning to Andorra to celebrate
his annual Advent service with us midweek on Wednesday, 14 th December at
11am (not 1pm, as usual) at La Massana Church. We hope to see you there,
but even if you cannot get to the service you are very welcome to join us for
ADVENT LUNCH at 1pm at The Xalet Restaurant, Arinsal (part of Hotel
Montané). We shall sing carols, have our Advent Wreath ceremony and hear a
Christmas story. The 3-course menu + wine is €15/head. To book, please phone

CHRISTMAS EVE SERVICE OF 9 LESSONS AND CAROLS +
CHRISTINGLE for the children – At 6pm on 24 th December at La Massana
Church, followed by mulled wine and mince pies! Come and hear the story of
Christ’s birth, and sing traditional carols accompanied by Robert Bailey on the wonderful church organ.
AndAds has received a report that “Police have warned people not to purchase tickets from Andorra-based company
www.liveolympictickets.com”. The web-site makes no mention of Andorra, but neither does it give any other address,
which is rather suspicious.

A group of volunteers at the kennel in Montferrer have produced a calendar which we are selling for €10. All the
proceeds go towards moving dogs from either the Andorran or Montferrer kennel to new homes in Holland and
Germany. We have moved 8 dogs so far this year and will be looking to move another two in the next 6 - 8 weeks.
The calendar is made up of picture of the dogs in the Montferrer kennels, and include Andorra, Spanish and UK

We have a 10yr old male boxer, Lord, which has been dropped off at the kennels
in Montferrer. He had tumours in his mouth and we believe that this is the reason
why he was given up. We've had them removed and analysed with the results coming
back as negative for cancer. He's now looking for a new home so if anyone is

SAVE MONEY AND TIME with Andorra la Vella's plastic debit parking card. With it you get a
whole hour free in any of their communal car parks - including the excellent new one next to
Pyrenees - and a reduced fee after that. No need to queue to pay or scrabble around for coins.
Just swipe it in front of the ticket slot as you go in and ditto as you go out. I wouldn't be without it.
To buy one, go to the ticket office at the 'Govern' car park. The initial cost is 30€ of which 5€ is for
the card with 25€ of parking time in it. To top it up use the ticket machine in any of their car parks.
Hold the magnetic side of your card against the flat place with a grey strip on it below the normal
ticket slot and then follow instructions on the screen. Good luck and cheaper parking!
