If local associations make a request for an IS<strong>USBC</strong><strong>BA</strong> representative<br />
the association manager will forward the request to the IS<strong>USBC</strong><strong>BA</strong><br />
president who will assign a representative to attend.<br />
Page 31, salary and expense section 3, paragraph 5, change to<br />
paragraph 6, add paragraph 5 to read: Travel allowance to attend<br />
local association meeting will be 20 cents per mile (round trip) to<br />
driver only. MapQuest or Rand McNally miles per shortest route<br />
statement must be presented for reimbursement. No subsistence<br />
allowance granted. No lodging allowance granted.<br />
Page 32 next to last line: Change to: All final bids<br />
must be postmarked by February 1st two years ahead of<br />
the tournament year. The association manager will release<br />
the bids in the Council of Delegates meeting packets.<br />
Page 32 last sentence: This amendment will be in effect for the<br />
<strong>2012</strong> <strong>Iowa</strong> <strong>State</strong> <strong>USBC</strong><strong>BA</strong>, Inc. Championship tournament will<br />
be removed. Page 33 first paragraph: Change to: The association<br />
manager, with the approval of the board of directors, may transfer<br />
the tournament to the next bidding city in the same region if the<br />
facilities are available. If no facilities are available the association<br />
manager and the association president will award the site of the<br />
state tournament. We will eliminate the rest of the paragraph. Page<br />
33, paragraph 3, the initial rotation sequence etc. will be eliminated.<br />
Page 33, paragraph 4, this amendment will be in effect for the <strong>2012</strong><br />
IS<strong>USBC</strong><strong>BA</strong>, INC. Championship tournament will be eliminated.<br />
Page 33, last paragraph change to: Tentative regions as follows<br />
and to be approved by the full board.<br />
Mike Jordan with the finance committee report: He thanked<br />
his committee and presented a proposed budget with income<br />
at $413,025.00 and expenditures $395,030.00 for a net gain of<br />
$17,995.00.<br />
The audit report by F. Eugene Logel: His committee checked<br />
the CPA report and our books with everything in order, and they<br />
implemented some changes recommended by the CPA report.<br />
Arden Schoep with the special committee report: They reviewed<br />
the guidelines for submitting a bid for our tournament and several<br />
updates were added. He stated they reviewed guidelines for hosting a<br />
state tournament. They recommended that smaller city associations<br />
