2012 Annual Meeting Minutes - Iowa State USBC BA

Dennis Peckenschneider with a plaque that read: In appreciation
and gratitude the ISBA proudly honors Dennis Peckenschneider
financial officer for 7 years of dedicated service.
Gene Wandro presented Bruce Strom with a plaque that reads: In
appreciation and gratitude the Iowa State USBC BA proudly honors
Bruce Strom for leadership and service to the Iowa State Bowling
Council and the Iowa State Bowling Proprietors March 31, 2012.
Connie Rommel mentioned, on behalf of the Greater Cedar
Valley Bowling Association they would be sending a contribution to
the International Bowling Hall of Fame in the name of Gene Wandro.
F. Eugene Logel presented Gene Wandro with his Past President’s
plaque and pin. Gene Wandro presented the ISBA gavel to F. Eugene
Logel and his pin as the ISBA President and he could not wear the
pin until August 1st.
Connie Rommel gave a report of the new state mixed doubles
tournament. It would consist of team, doubles and singles. The first
tournament will be bowled the last weekend in October and the
first two weekends of November at Maple Lanes bowling center
in Waterloo.
Gene Wandro introduced his fiancée, Julie, and said that he
would be moving to Minnesota in the near future.
At 2:55 P.M. Marlin Gustin made the motion to adjourn,
seconded by Rob Wellner and carried.
