Handbook Primary - The International School of Monaco

Dear Parents,
I would like to wish you all a very warm welcome to the Primary school. My name is Jenny
O’Fee and as Head of Primary, I am responsible for the daily running of the Primary School.
At ISM we strive to provide an engaging, bilingual learning environment for all of our students,
providing support, as well as challenging each individual learner to fulfil their potential.
The Primary School Staff is a committed, learning-focused team of teachers, who place value
on students gaining fulfilment and satisfaction from their learning. I believe that effective
communication between students, parents and teachers is of great importance and as such,
will endeavour to continue to build the strong relationships that will promote and foster a love
of learning in our community.
The following Handbook is intended to be a practical, informative guide for parents to explain
the daily operation of the Primary School. Within the handbook you will find the school’s
Mission Statement and Goals, the policies, which govern the running of the school, as well as
the Primary School Curriculum.
Should you have any queries or questions regarding your child, please consider the class
teacher your first point of contact. Appointments can be made to meet with teachers through
the school reception or directly with the teacher themselves. However, should you require any
further assistance, please do not hesitate to make an appointment to meet with me.
I look forward to working collaboratively with students, staff and parents to create a positive,
learning atmosphere, where every individual can successfully grow, both academically and
socially.
