<strong>Harter</strong> Shapes – Construction Details<br />
Table Tops/Laminate, Linoleum,<br />
Beech Veneer<br />
Construction: Tops are constructed with a laminate, linoleum,<br />
or veneer face, 100% recycled particle-board core, then edged<br />
and backed with moisture-resistant coverings to form a completely<br />
sealed outside surface. Tops are shipped pre-drilled for<br />
easy assembly to bases.<br />
Material:<br />
Table Top Laminate: Wilsonart, Lamicolor, or Nevamar in<br />
various colors.<br />
Wood veneer and solids: European steamed<br />
Beech, quarter-cut, slip-matched, stained<br />
and/or clear-coated.<br />
Linoleum: Armstrong or Forbo in various colors.<br />
Edging Wood trim, ApplePly ® , laminate self-edge, or<br />
flat PVC.<br />
Core Particle board, MDF, or ApplePly (plywood).<br />
Backer Moisture-resistant material, such as Polyback<br />
(phenolic resin paper), to provide stable, balanced<br />
construction.<br />
Finish:<br />
Veneer Stained (if applicable) and clear-coated.<br />
Edging Wood stained (if applicable) and clear-coated<br />
ApplePly ® : clear-coated.<br />
Table Tops/Chroma Applied<br />
Construction: Chroma Applied tops are 1” thick, feature<br />
1/8” radius corners, and square edges that have been beautifully<br />
polished for a clear finish. The bottom surface features an<br />
opaque coating which creates the color within.<br />
Chroma Applied surfaces are mounted to the table base utilizing<br />
a 3/4” thick particle board substrate. The particle board<br />
permanently bonds to the Chroma with a double-sided 3M<br />
tape product. The substrate is pre-drilled for mounting and is<br />
shipped with complete instructions and positioning template for<br />
installation in the field.<br />

Applied<br />
Chroma Applied by 3Form is an eco-friendly<br />
resin-based material with a renewable matte<br />
finish. Chroma Applied colors are opaque by<br />
design to accommodate horizontal applications<br />
where the material can be mounted to<br />
a solid substrate and base — hiding both the<br />
substrate and the mounting hardware.<br />
Table Tops/Glass<br />
Construction: Vanceva glass tops are 1/2” thick and feature a<br />
rounded, polished edge. The glass is mounted to the table base<br />
with a 3/4” thick particle board substrate. The particle board<br />
substrate permanently bonds to the glass with a double-sided<br />
3M tape product. The substrate is pre-drilled for mounting and<br />
is shipped with complete instructions and positioning template<br />
for installation in the field. The standard size substrate is 16” in<br />
diameter, except on those tables noted below.<br />
