Members coming from European Countries who are travelling by cars are reminded<br />
that cars are driven on the left hand side of the road in the United<br />
Kingdom. The roads in the vicinity of Hadeeqatul Mahdi are particularly narrow.<br />
The speed limit on these roads is 30 / 40 m.p.h<br />
Guests arriving by car are advised to seek guidance from their own motoring<br />
organisations regarding route maps, Insurance, UK driving Rules and Regulations<br />
and Breakdown cover.<br />
It is important to bring the relevant documents with you (for example Driving<br />
Licences, Insurance Policy documents etc).<br />
Guests are reminded that the UK Jama'at accepts no responsibility for<br />
any loss or damage to vehicles or any other valuables in Cars , which are<br />
parked in car park at Country Market or Hadeeqatul Mahdi.<br />
Transport Policy for UK Members<br />
The <strong>Jalsa</strong> transport policy during the last two years was great success and most<br />
welcomed by Local Council/Police and Highway authorities. The credit for this<br />
success goes to all members of the Jamaat for their cooperation with the administration<br />
to make the transport policy a success.<br />
The salient features are as follows:<br />
A. The members of the London/Middlesex & South Regions are encouraged<br />
to use train services from London to Alton, and use the shuttle<br />
service from Alton to Hadeeqatul Mahdi and back.<br />
B. In case, members of the above Regions have to use their own cars, they<br />
would be allowed to park their cars at Country Market and use shuttle<br />
service between Country Market and Hadeeqatul Mahdi.<br />
C. Disabled person from the UK and overseas will be issued a pass, on<br />
application, to park their cars in Hadeeqatul Mahdi .They should submit<br />
their application duly verified by their respective Presidents along with<br />
the proof of disability.<br />
D. The members of the Jamaat from outside London/Middlesex & South<br />
Regions could apply as per last year for one pass per family to bring<br />
cars to H/ Mahdi. Any additional cars should be parked at Country<br />
Market and use the shuttle service.<br />
E. The members are advised to apply for parking permit well in advance.<br />
All applications should be addressed to Afsar <strong>Jalsa</strong> <strong>Salana</strong> and come<br />
through their local Presidents. Please provide the following information..<br />
(!) Name and AIMS No. (2) Car Registration No. (3) Disability<br />
proof.<br />
