Conference venue:<br />
Point Hotel Taksim is perfectly located within a short walking distance to Istanbul Lutfi Kirdar Convention &<br />
Exhibition Centre (ICEC), Taksim Square which has a great deal of shopping and nightlife opportunities and<br />
also 5-10 minutes drive to old town with a lot of historic sightseeing. A smiling welcome in the lobby is just<br />
the beginning of Point Hotel Taksim experience. Its flawless design is inherent in 174 deluxe rooms,<br />
10 junior suits and 10 senior suits, all having 1 Gbit wi-fi internet connection which is free of charge all<br />
around the hotel. All rooms are equipped with a king-size bed or two twin beds, private marble bathrooms,<br />

Airports:<br />
There are two international airports. Ataturk Airport is located on European side and Sabiha Gökçen Airport<br />
is located on Anatolian side.<br />
The Point Hotel is 45 - 60 minutes far from Ataturk Airport and 60 - 75 minutes far from Sabiha Gökçen<br />
Airport by bus. There are shuttle busses from both airports to the Taksim Square every half hour from early<br />
in the morning till midnight. The Point Hotel is only 5 minutes far from the Taksim Square by walk.<br />
Cancellations:<br />
If you should be prevented from attending for any reason, please cancel by 8th March 2012. After this date<br />
we will have to charge the full participation fee. It is possible to nominate a substitute.<br />

The common aim and mission<br />
European Pultrusion<br />
Technology Association<br />
The European Pultrusion Technology Association (EPTA) is an association formed in 1989<br />
by the leading FRC (Fiber Reinforced Composites) Pultruders in Europe and is open for<br />
membership to all companies and organizations, wishing to participate in promoting the<br />
responsible use of Fiber Reinforced Composite Materials, and in the exchange of knowledge<br />
between members.<br />
EPTA‘s mission is to support the growth of the composite profiles industry<br />
by maximising external communication efforts and having an actively<br />
contributing membership.<br />
Membership<br />
Membership of EPTA is open to all companies and individuals worldwide, without restriction.<br />
However it is mandatory for European Pultruders and Pultrusion Equipment Manufacturers to<br />
become FULL Members.<br />
FULL Membership<br />
is aimed at all companies worldwide directly involved in pultrusion.<br />
ASSOCIATED Membership<br />
is aimed at research companies, end-users, universities and at the Pultrusion Industry<br />
allied businesses.<br />
SPONSOR Membership<br />
is aimed at raw material suppliers who wish to see the pultrusion industry florish and expand.<br />
