Sleeping Benefits
Gervonte Lee
Sleep is very beneficial to the
body, but a lot of adolescence doesn’t
realize how valuable sleep is. Sleep
impacts nearly every area of daily life.
According to the Division of Sleep
Medicine at Harvard Medical School,
your body requires sleep just as much as
other vital activities such as eating,
drinking, and breathing. Emotional wellbeing
greatly depends on sleep. After a
good night’s sleep, you feel better, and
have clearer thoughts. Sleep
requirements vary by individual.
Most people don’t know that
sleep reduces stress. With a good night’s
rest, you can lower blood pressure levels
If you want to feel your best, stay
healthy, and perform up to your
potential, then sleep must be a necessity
and not something you fantasize over.
When your brain and body are at work
all day it, will always benefit you if you
let them get the rest they need to
function properly. Your heart is a major
muscle needed for your body to work
and to keep from having heart attacks,
strokes, and other health issues, you
need sleep!
Sleep helps slow the effects of
wear and tear on your body and
encourages a state of relaxation. Very
many of us have gone without sleep and
know how it can affect your mood and
stress level.
I know sleep is something that
you have to pass on sometimes or you
might let time pass you by but for the
most part in order to live a healthy life
and be assertive sleep is a big factor and
something you need much of.
