Included - Pullman Compartments<br />
The E&O has 36 Pullman Compartments,<br />
each 5.8 square metres in size. Daytime<br />
seating converts to one upper and one<br />
lower bed at night.<br />
Optional - State Compartments<br />
Each of the 28 State Compartments are 7.8<br />
square metres in area. Daytime seating<br />
converts to two single beds at floor level at<br />
night.<br />
Ac<strong>com</strong>modation on board the Eastern & Oriental Express is in one of three grades of beautifully appointed<br />
<strong>com</strong>partments: Presidential Suite, State Compartments and Pullman Compartments. All are air-conditioned,<br />
have an en suite shower room, washbasin and WC. During dinner your steward will transform your<br />
<strong>com</strong>partment from daytime seating to a <strong>com</strong>fortable bedroom. Large windows offer excellent views of the<br />
ever-changing countryside. Facilities include a 24-hour steward service, international electric sockets (220<br />
volts) and 110 volt adapter for razors, personal safe and hair-dryer. The Presidential Suite also has a<br />
<strong>com</strong>plimentary bar.<br />
Dining<br />
Chefs on board the Eastern & Oriental Express are internationally<br />
renowned for their ability to create a tantalising variety of Eastern<br />
and European dishes, using the finest fresh seasonal ingredients.<br />
Service equals the world's finest restaurants. Lunch and dinner are<br />
served in the two Restaurant Cars, each lavishly decorated with<br />
rosewood and elm panelling.<br />
