CANON PowerShot SX200 IS Cashback Promotion – Terms and Conditions
1. PARTICIPANTS
1.1. This promotion is only available on purchases of a new Canon PowerShot SX200 IS models within the UK or Republic of
Ireland (“ROI”) between 25 June 2009 and 31 August 2009 inclusive.
1.2. All Participants must be aged 18 or over and must be resident in the European Union.
1.3. Employees of Canon (UK) Ltd (“Canon”), its subsidiary companies, their families, agents and other parties directly
involved with this promotion are not eligible to enter.
1.4. All Participants are deemed to have agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions.
2. HOW TO PARTICIPATE
2.1. To enter the promotion, participants must purchase a new Canon PowerShot SX200 IS within the UK or ROI during the
promotional period specified in 2.2 below and submit a valid claim in accordance with 2.3 below.
2.2. Purchases must be made in the UK or ROI between Thursday 25 June 2009 and Monday 31 August 2009 to be eligible
for this promotion. Purchases made after midnight on 31 August 2009 will not be eligible under this promotion.
2.3. To claim the “Cashback”, participants must submit a valid claim by midnight on Wednesday 30 September 2009 as
follows:
2.3.1. Send a fully and correctly completed Claim Form together with a photocopy of the original receipt or valid proof of

2.4. Claim forms can be obtained in-store, downloaded from www.canon.co.uk/powershotcashback or
www.canon.ie/powershotcashback or, by contacting the Promoter.
2.5. The closing date for receipt of Claims is midnight on Wednesday 30 September 2009. Claims received after this date will
not be processed and Canon accepts no responsibility whatsoever for any claims delayed, lost or completed incorrectly or
incompletely. Proof of posting is not proof of receipt.
2.6. Upon receipt and verification of the claim, a cheque will be issued for the total amount in accordance with the details
provided on the Claim Form. Claims will not be valid if incomplete, incorrect or illegible.
2.7. Currency will be selected on the basis of the address given on the claim form.
2.8. Only one claim per product purchased is permitted.
2.9. This promotion cannot be redeemed in conjunction with any other promotion whatsoever.
2.10. In the event of any dispute over interpretation or implementation of these Terms and Conditions on any matter related to
this offer, the decision of the directors of Canon (UK) Ltd is final.
2.11. The offer is subject to Canon (UK) Ltd’s standard terms and conditions of sale, available on request from the Promoter.
3. CASHBACK
3.1. This offer is strictly as follows:
3.1.1. forty pounds sterling (£40) or forty five Euros (¤45) cheque per new PowerShot SX200 IS purchased.
3.2. Absolutely no alternative is available and NO CASH WILL BE ISSUED FOR ANY CLAIM.
3.3. “Cashback” will be provided in the form of a cheque made payable to the person named on the claim form. No other
arrangement will be entered into.
3.4. The total value of each claim will be calculated using details supplied on and with the claim form and only one cheque
will be issued per valid claim form submitted.
3.5. The claims handler endeavours to process all Claims within 28 working days of receipt of the valid claim form and
where this is not possible, as soon as possible thereafter. Canon will not be liable for any claim that is not processed
within 28 days.
3.6. It is the responsibility of the participant to process the cheque whilst it is still valid.
4. THE PROMOTER

6.1. These terms and conditions are governed by English law and come under the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts,
except where any contract is made in Scotland or the Republic of Ireland, in which case it will be governed by Scottish or
