1950 the consequent Jewish community from > Hradec Králové sold the building of the<br />
synagogue to the Czechoslovak Church (contract dated 5 October, 1950, state<br />
agreement dated 2 April, 1951) ••§FH<br />
1951 a memorial plaque will be placed on the building with information on the origins<br />
of the building, the local Jewish community and the victims of the Holocaust in the<br />

the Czechoslovak Church rebuilt the synagogue to suit the needs of its prayer hall:<br />
▪ all the windows in the eastern front were walled in<br />
▪ „pillars of the outer walls“ were demolished<br />
▪ the gallery for women on the western side was separated from the main hall by a wall<br />
▪ a new entrance (on the western side) was built and the old one (on the northern side,<br />
with the Hebrew inscription dated 1821-22) was walled in<br />
