Examination, J.C.E.C.E. Board not later than 3 days before commencement of the Examination if he is<br />
eligible for the Examination as per Section-5 of this prospectus and has sent the application form for<br />
PGMAT-2010 as per details given in Sections-11, 12 & 13 of this prospectus.<br />
No intimation will be sent to the applicants, whose candidature for the <strong>test</strong> has been rejected.<br />
In every Examination Centre, there may be several sub-centres (places of Examination). This will be<br />
noted on the Admit card with date and time of the <strong>test</strong>.<br />
Candidates adopting unfair means in the <strong>test</strong> shall be expelled and shall further be debarred from<br />
appearing in three subsequent Examinations exclusive of the current Examination.<br />
Submission of incorrect/ false documents and adoption of unfair means/impersonation if detected at<br />
any stage of PGMAT even before or after the publication of the results at any stage shall automatically<br />
lead to rejection of the candidature of the applicant for <strong>admission</strong>.<br />
Successful candidates shall have to appear in person at their own cost for scrutiny and verification of<br />
the original documents/ identity and counselling, failing which, their candidatures will be rejected.<br />
(viii) Appearance in person for scrutiny of papers during counselling does not entitle a candidate for <strong>admission</strong>.<br />
(ix) If by mistake, an unillegable candidate is allowed to sit at the Examination which otherwise would not<br />
have been possible and the error is detected subsequently at any stage before or after <strong>admission</strong>, he will<br />
lose all claim/ right of <strong>admission</strong> even if he competes successfully. In case of any legal dispute arising<br />
out of the situation, the candidate will not be admitted till the final disposal of the case.<br />
(x) In all matters relating to PGMAT-2010, the decision of the Controller of Examination on behalf of<br />
J.C.E.C.E. Board will be final and he will have the power to alter the dates of Examination and Counselling<br />
in case of any emergency or unforeseen circumstances. The controller of Examination shall have the<br />
power to correct, rectify and modify any letter or letters, notifications and orders issued by or on behalf<br />
of Controller of Examination, J.C.E.C.E. Board.<br />
(xi) A candidate on being finally selected must join the course within the specified date/period, otherwise<br />
the candidate will forefeit his claim for <strong>admission</strong>.<br />
(xii) If in service, the candidate shall have to resign from service or obtain leave for the whole period of<br />
study and get himself /herself relieved before joining the course.<br />
(xiii) Government of <strong>Jharkhand</strong> reserves the right not to take any <strong>admission</strong> in any subject or in any course<br />
and to make any addition/ deletion in the courses as and when required.<br />
(xiv) Instructions to examinees will form part of this prospectus.<br />
(xv) Any printing or typographical error during publication or preparation of results will not entitle the candi<br />
date for <strong>admission</strong>.<br />
(xvi) Those who do not turn up for Counselling and the verification of documents in person on the notified<br />
date, will forefeit their claims for <strong>admission</strong>.<br />
(xvii) There is no provision for re-evaluation of answersheet or re-totalling of marks.<br />
(xviii) In case of any emergency, the Govt. reserves the right to get the PGMAT-2010 conducted by Central<br />
Board of Secondary Education or All India Institute of Medical Sciences or any other Educational<br />
Council of national repute.<br />
(xix) <strong>Jharkhand</strong> Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board reserves the right to change/ modify/<br />
add/ delete any rule/ information included in the Prospectus/ Application Form – Set for PGMAT-2010.<br />
16. In case of any dispute with regard to rejection of application form/ rejection of answer sheet/ choice of subject<br />
etc. connected with PGMAT-2010 course, the candidate should represent to the Controller of Examination,<br />
J.C.E.C.E. Board, who shall there upon dispose off such representation by a speaking order within 30 days<br />
of receipt of the representation at the earliest possible time.<br />
17. Issue of Admit card will not confer any right of <strong>admission</strong>. If it is detected that the candidate is not<br />
qualified or has incurred any disqualification making him ineligible for <strong>admission</strong> to the course, his candidature<br />
will be rejected. Each year separate prospectus for PGMAT will be issued after completing due formalities.<br />
18. Any dispute arising out of or connected with PGMAT-2010 shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Hon’ble<br />
<strong>Jharkhand</strong> High Court, Ranchi only.<br />
