The firm favourite with guitar players the world over, the twin
cutaway body shape of the Encore E6 Blaster has been carefully
dimensioned by Trev Wilkinson to be as comfortable, ergonomic
and balanced as possible so it plays like a dream and produces
those so-classic tones.
Precisely-machined neck pocket offers positive
and totally secure neck to body join.
Overhung rosewood fingerboard also aids
compact neck fitment.
Fully-enclosed chromed machineheads
can have their tensioning action
adjusted.
The precisely-sculpted, low mass body is made from a fast growing,
environmentally friendly tonewood, used in making musical
instruments for literally thousands of years. Light and vibrant, this
tonewood has an attractive, open grain structure, reminiscent of
swamp ash, which contributes to the fast attack, definition and tone
associated with this classic body style.
The maple neck offers a positive, comfortable feel, matched with
an overhung 22 fret, 10” radius rosewood fingerboard, a classic
combination guaranteed to give you a great playing experience.
The electronics bring out the heart and soul of the tonewoods
we use, and most importantly, the pickups, the voice of the guitar.
A balanced set of Wilkinson-designed Guitar Tech vintage-voiced
single coil pickups have been meticulously voiced to provide
the sparkle, depth and power modern players need, without
compromising the classic tones you’d expect to hear.
The traditional switching, tone and volume layout is enhanced with
a reverse wound, reverse polarity middle pickup, to provide true
hum cancelling in selector positions 2 and 4.
A great musical tool in the hands of any guitarist is the traditional
vibrato bridge – Trev has worked his magic here, too. Close attention
has been paid to the important details in this style of bridge, which
contributes so much to functionality, return-to-zero tuning stability,
and tone.

E6 for true return-to-pitch tuning accuracy.
With Guitar Tech sealed gear diecast tuners, straight string pull
headstock and single string tree all working together to promote the
best possible ‘return to pitch’, the E6 will stay in tune like no other

Encore electro acoustic guitars feature an
easy-to-use EQ system with volume and
tone slider controls at your fingertips, from
the onboard undersaddle piezo pickup and
built-in pre-amp. Simply plug a guitar lead
from a suitable amplifier into the guitar's
endpin jack socket and then set volume and
tone to suit. Be sure to set the volume
control to zero before plugging in the guitar
lead to avoid damaging the amplifier.
