Uasi Musika, 34, of Kilauea, was sentenced to five years in
prison for Terroristic Threatening in the First Degree. Musika
entered his guilty plea to the felony offense on May 9, 2005.
The offense was committed on December 5, 2003 outside of Tomkat’s
Grille in Koloa. After being informed by officers that he was
under arrest for petty misdemeanor offenses that occurred in
Tomkat’s, Musika became belligerent, jabbed one officer in the
chest, kicked the officer in the shin and threatened to kill both
officers present.
Sandy Kiilau, 39, of Lihue, was sentenced to five years in
prison for Theft in the Second Degree. Kiilau entered her guilty
plea to the felony offense on May 17, 2005. The offense occurred
on July 16, 2004 at Kai Kane Hanalei. Kiilau took clothing off
the racks and concealed the items in a bag and left the store
without paying for the items. When an employee of the store
confronted Kiilau, she threw the items into nearby bushes.
Derek Hepa, 36, of Kapaa, was sentenced to five years
probation for Promoting a Dangerous Drug in the Third Degree
(possession of methamphetamine). Special conditions to Hepa’s
probation include one year in jail, substance abuse treatment,
drug testing, and court fees. Hepa was also sentenced to 30 days
jail for Reckless Driving and Driving While License Suspended or
Revoked. Hepa could reduce the actual time he spends in jail by
