November 2011 Grand Jury Indictments<br />

The <strong>County</strong> <strong>of</strong> Kaua'i Office <strong>of</strong> the Prosecuting Attorney announces the following indictments<br />

from the November 2011 Grand Jury Sessions:<br />

The Grand Jury returned a one count indictment against Garrett John<br />

Alisna, alleging that on October 6, 2011, Alisna committed the <strong>of</strong>fense<br />

<strong>of</strong> Terroristic Threatening in the First Degree a by threatening bodily<br />

injury to another with a knife. A warrant was issued for Garrett’s<br />

arrest and bail was set at $5,000.00.<br />

Garrett John Alisna<br />

The Grand Jury returned a three count indictment against Michael<br />

Osborne, alleging that on July 1, 2011, Osborne committed the<br />

<strong>of</strong>fenses <strong>of</strong> Promoting a Dangerous Drug in the First Degree, Unlawful<br />

Use <strong>of</strong> Drug Paraphernalia and Tampering with Physical Evidence by<br />

possessing cocaine and drug paraphernalia. Osborne’s case is set for<br />

jury trial on March 19, 2012<br />

Michael Osborne<br />

The Grand Jury returned a three count indictment against Jenny Lee<br />

Silva, alleging that on October 7, 2011, Silva committed the <strong>of</strong>fenses<br />

<strong>of</strong> Robbery in the Second Degree, and two counts <strong>of</strong> Assault in the<br />

Third Degree by forcefully taking property from an individual and<br />

causing injury to that individual and another. Silva’s case is set for jury<br />

trial on March 12, 2012.<br />

Lacilee Nobriga<br />

The Grand Jury returned a seven count indictment against Lacilee<br />

Nobriga and Tiphany Boissiere, alleging that on August 25, 2011, both<br />

committed the <strong>of</strong>fenses <strong>of</strong> Promoting a Dangerous Drug in the Third<br />

Degree, Unlawful Use <strong>of</strong> Drug Paraphernalia and Promoting a<br />

Detrimental Drug in the Third Degree by possessing<br />

methamphetamine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Nobriga was<br />

also alleged to have committed the <strong>of</strong>fense <strong>of</strong> Resisting an Order to<br />

Stop Motor Vehicle. Both cases are set for jury trial on April 2, 2012.<br />

Tiphany Boissiere<br />

James Mauk<br />

The Grand Jury returned a five count indictment against<br />

James Mauk and Christy Taylor, alleging that on June 30, 2011, Mauk<br />

and Taylor each committed the <strong>of</strong>fenses <strong>of</strong> Commercial Promotion <strong>of</strong><br />

Marijuana in the Second Degree and Unlawful use <strong>of</strong> Drug<br />

Paraphernalia by possessing marijuana having an aggregate weight <strong>of</strong><br />

two pounds or more and possessing drug paraphernalia. Taylor is also<br />

alleged to have committed the <strong>of</strong>fense <strong>of</strong> Commercial Promotion <strong>of</strong><br />

Marijuana in the Second Degree by distributing marijuana having an<br />

aggregate weight <strong>of</strong> one pound or more. Both Mauk and Taylor’s<br />

cases are set for jury trial on March 19, 2012.<br />

Kevin Reis<br />

The Grand Jury returned a twelve count indictment against<br />

Kevin Reis and Kristen Naito, alleging that on June 27, 2011, Reis and<br />

Naito each committed the <strong>of</strong>fenses <strong>of</strong> one count <strong>of</strong> Promoting a<br />

Dangerous Drug in the Third Degree, one count Unlawful Use <strong>of</strong> Drug<br />

Paraphernalia, one count Place to Keep Ammunition, and two counts<br />

<strong>of</strong> Unauthorized Possession <strong>of</strong> Confidential Personal Information by<br />

possessing and distributing methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia and<br />

ammunition. Additionally, Reis is alleged to have committed one<br />

count <strong>of</strong> Unauthorized Control <strong>of</strong> Propelled Vehicle, while Naito is<br />

alleged to have committed one count <strong>of</strong> Unauthorized Entry into Motor<br />

Vehicle in the First Degree. A warrant was issued for Reis’s arrest and<br />

bail was set at $5,100.00. Naito’s case is set for jury trial on March<br />

19, 2012.<br />

Kristen Naito<br />

The Grand Jury returned a three count indictment against Duke<br />

Dasalia, alleging that on October 25, 2011, Dasalia committed the<br />

<strong>of</strong>fenses <strong>of</strong> Terroristic Threatening in the First Degree, Attempted<br />

Assault in the Second Degree and Criminal Property Damage in the<br />

Third Degree by threatening and attempting to injure another with a<br />

vehicle. Dasalia’s case is set for arraignment on December 21, 2011.<br />

Duke Dasalia<br />

Brianna Stevens<br />

The Grand Jury returned a two count indictment against<br />

Brianna Stevens, alleging that on February 11, 2011, Stevens<br />

committed the <strong>of</strong>fenses <strong>of</strong> Attempted Promoting a Detrimental Drug<br />

in the First Degree and Unlawful Use <strong>of</strong> Drug Paraphernalia by<br />

attempting to possess marijuana and possessing drug paraphernalia. A<br />

warrant was issued for Stevens’ arrest and bail was set at $2,000.00.<br />

Robin Servantes<br />

The Grand Jury returned an eight count indictment against<br />

Robin Servantes and Teliipioohailani Pa, alleging that on February 17,<br />

2011, Servantes and Pa each committed the <strong>of</strong>fenses <strong>of</strong> Promoting a<br />

Dangerous Drug in the Third Degree, Unlawful Use <strong>of</strong> Drug<br />

Paraphernalia and Theft in the Second Degree by possessing crystal<br />

methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia, and taking property <strong>of</strong> a<br />

retail store in an amount exceeding $300.00. Servantes was also<br />

indicted for one count <strong>of</strong> Conditions <strong>of</strong> Operation and Registration <strong>of</strong><br />

Motor Vehicles and one count <strong>of</strong> Driving Without a License. Both<br />

Servantes and Pa’s cases are set for jury trial on March 27, 2012.<br />

Teliipioohaililani Pa<br />

Gregory Freeman<br />

The Grand Jury returned a five count indictment against<br />

Gregory Freeman, alleging that on July 18, 2011, Freeman committed<br />

the <strong>of</strong>fenses <strong>of</strong> Promoting a Controlled Substance In, On, or Near<br />

Schools, Schools Vehicles, or Public Parks, Promoting a Detrimental<br />

Drug in the Second Degree, Promoting a Dangerous Drug in the Third<br />

Degree, Unlawful Use <strong>of</strong> Drug Paraphernalia, Promoting a Harmful<br />

Drug in the Fourth Degree by possessing marijuana, oxycodone,<br />

diazepam, and drug paraphernalia. A warrant was issued for<br />

Freeman’s arrest and bail was set at $3,200.00.<br />

The Grand Jury returned a two count indictment against Bryce<br />

Hokulani Akuna, alleging that on October 3, 2011, Akuna committed<br />

the <strong>of</strong>fenses <strong>of</strong> Felony Abuse <strong>of</strong> Family or Household Members and<br />

Abuse <strong>of</strong> Family or Household Members. Akuna’s case is set for jury<br />

trial on March 27, 2012.<br />

The Grand Jury returned a four count indictment against<br />

William Puulei, alleging that on October 13, 2011, Puulei committed<br />

the <strong>of</strong>fenses <strong>of</strong> Robbery in the First Degree, two counts <strong>of</strong> Terroristic<br />

Threatening in the First Degree and one count <strong>of</strong> Extortion in the<br />

Third Degree by using force and or threats <strong>of</strong> force while armed with a<br />

knife and taking property from another person. Puulei’s case is set for<br />

jury trial on March 12, 2012.<br />

William Puulei<br />

Edward Ferreira III<br />

The Grand Jury returned a nine count indictment against<br />

Edward Ferreira III, alleging that on October 6, 2011, Ferreira<br />

committed the <strong>of</strong>fenses <strong>of</strong> four counts <strong>of</strong> Promoting a Dangerous Drug<br />

in the Third Degree, four counts <strong>of</strong> Unlawful Use <strong>of</strong> Drug<br />

Paraphernalia and one count <strong>of</strong> Promoting Prison Contraband in the<br />

Second Degree , by possessing methamphetamine and drug<br />

paraphernalia. A warrant was issued for Ferreira’s arrest and bail was<br />

set at $100.00.<br />
