Wilkinson of Wittersham, Ashford, <strong>Kent</strong>. Buried in the La Valee-Mulatre Communal Cemetery<br />

Extension. Aisne, France. Grave reference A.40.<br />

James was awarded the Military Cross (MC) for courage and leadership.<br />

James was educated at Sandroyd School, Cobham, Surrey, Harrow School London and the<br />

Royal Military Academy Woolwich.<br />
