France. Grave reference II.A.36.
William’s name does NOT appear on the Petham civic war memorial.
The day that William died his battalion was in the vicinity of Meteren near Bailleul which explains
where he is buried. William died of wounds that he received in an earlier battle.

Canterbury. Charles has no known grave. His name appears on the Tyne Cot Memorial,
