1. Have students brainstorm to develop a list <strong>of</strong> information about <strong>China</strong> <strong>and</strong> <strong>Egypt</strong>. The following Web sites may<br />

2. <strong>Review</strong> the key vocabulary in this unit.<br />
3. Have the class create a chart <strong>of</strong> the similarities between ancient <strong>Egypt</strong> <strong>and</strong> <strong>China</strong>.<br />
4. Have the class create a chart <strong>of</strong> the differences between ancient <strong>Egypt</strong> <strong>and</strong> <strong>China</strong>. Make sure they include<br />
monuments <strong>and</strong> contributions.<br />
5. Prepare a Venn diagram to depict both the similarities <strong>and</strong> differences between <strong>Egypt</strong> <strong>and</strong> <strong>China</strong>. (For a sample<br />

6. Tell students to pretend they lived in <strong>Ancient</strong> <strong>Egypt</strong> or <strong>China</strong>. Have them choose one aspect or incident <strong>of</strong> their<br />
