LOOKING AFTER the navigator REFITTING THE SEAT COVERS Refit the covers by carefully reversing the instruction in the section “Removing the seat covers”. If you have detached the seat back to remove the seat covers you must refit the seat back before using the Navigator. (Refer to Assemble the Navigator section) IMPORTANT: Make sure you refit the seat covers correctly they are an important safety feature. Do not use the Navigator without seat covers and only use covers recommended by the manufacturer. Do not put your child’s safety at risk. CLEANING THE SEAT COVERS Hand wash only at a maximum of 30 degrees. (See wash care labels on the back of the Navigator seat covers). Do not iron, dry clean or tumble dry. Dry flat, away from direct heat and sunlight. CLEANING THE SEAT SHELL: Wipe clean using a mild soap and warm water. You must not remove, dismantle or alter any part of the seat shell. You must not oil or lubricate any part of the seat shell. 14

It is approved to Regulation No. 44.04 series of amendments, for general use in vehicles and it will fit most, but not all, car seats. 2. A correct fit is likely if the vehicle manufacturer has declared in the vehicle handbook that the vehicle is capable of accepting a “Universal” child restraint for this age group. 3. This child restraint has been classified as “Universal” under more stringent conditions than those which applied to earlier designs which do not carry this notice. 4. If in doubt, consult either the child restraint manufacturer or the retailer. 5. Only suitable if the approved vehicles are fitted with 3 point/static/ with retractor safety–belts, approved to UN/ECE Regulation No 16 or other equivalent standards. 15
