Membership Application Form<br />
All new members should submit a completed application form to the <strong>KD</strong> office. <strong>The</strong> <strong>KD</strong> office<br />
staff will then enter all information on the form into the <strong>KD</strong> Membership Database.<br />
MEMBERSHIP CATEGORIES<br />
<strong>The</strong> King’s <strong>Daughters</strong> organization has three membership categories.<br />
Adult Member - Any member who has paid dues and is in good standing of an Adult <strong>Circle</strong> as of<br />
July 1 of any year shall be considered a member in good standing of <strong>The</strong> King’s <strong>Daughters</strong> and<br />
shall be entitled to all the rights and privileges of membership, including the right to vote on<br />
any matter brought before <strong>The</strong> King’s <strong>Daughters</strong>’ membership from that date up to and<br />
including June 30 of the following year.<br />
Junior Member- Any High School student who is a member in good standing of a Junior<br />
<strong>Circle</strong>/Club shall be recognized as a Junior member. While they can vote on items at their own<br />
<strong>Circle</strong> meetings, Junior <strong>Circle</strong>/Club members are not entitled to vote on King’s <strong>Daughters</strong>’<br />
corporate business.<br />
Honorary Member- Any Adult member who has paid dues and been granted Honorary status<br />
by the Board of Directors shall be recognized as an Honorary member. <strong>The</strong> Board of Directors<br />
may grant Honorary status to any member in good standing of an Adult <strong>Circle</strong> who is no longer<br />
able to participate due to health or physical limitations or has 20 or more years of service.<br />
Honorary Members are required to pay reduced annual dues to offset the cost of mailings and<br />
are not entitled to vote on King’s <strong>Daughters</strong>’ corporate business. When the entire <strong>Circle</strong> is<br />
made up of Honorary members, the <strong>Circle</strong> is then designated as an Honorary <strong>Circle</strong>.
