Congratulations are in order for the Kings Junior High School 8th Grade Band for their recent
musical accomplishment. The KJH 8th Grade Band received a I (superior rating) in
Class A, OMEA District XIII Large Group Contest. The performance was held at Lebanon
Junior High on Friday, May 11. Kings was the only band to participate in Class A, which has
the most challenging music. Thank you 8th grade band members for a job well
done! Special thanks to directors Mike Maegly, Greg Mills and Joe Polen.
Dear Kings High School Supporter,
What another remarkable year it has been for our students at
Kings High School. This year, we saw more than 95 percent of
our student body involved in some sort of extracurricular activity.
It is great to see the community support for these activities
and it is our goal to continue to give abundant extracurricular
opportunities to our students.
With that said, it is time to begin our sponsorship drive for the
Kings High School Sports Media Guide for the next school year.
The media guide recognizes our athletic and extracurricular
activities and is printed for the fall and winter sports seasons.
All sponsors who advertise will be included in both issues.
The media guide is fully driven by the students and staff at
Kings High School. Everything from the selling of ads to distribution
of the media guides will be fully incorporated into the
curriculum so that students can develop awareness of business
and marketing practices. All ad revenue and sells from the media
guide will go directly to support our students at Kings High
School.
The Kings High School students and staff would like to invite
you to participate in the media guide. This is a priority invitation
to you before we send out our initial sponsorship letters. There
is limited space for advertising available, so please act fast. We
don’t want you to miss out on a great opportunity for your business
to be seen by thousands.
Click the link below to find an order form for sponsorship.
Please fill out the form and mail back, with payment, to Kings
High School. Please address any questions to Rob Robison at
rrobison@kingslocal.net
Thank you for your support and “GO KNIGHTS!”
Sincerely,
How far can you jump? Students in Heidi Furterer’s 2nd grade class
at J.F. Burns Elementary set out to answer that question while
studying measurements in math. Each student took a turn jumping
while Ms. Furterer placed measurement tape on the ground to
keep track. Students then worked together to see how far each student
jumped. Pictured are Ayden Allen and Anna Peredery.
