(PVB), based in Malibu, CA.<br />
s a creative soul, Melody learned early<br />
on about the therapeutic and fulfilling<br />
effects of art. Growing up expressing<br />
herself through theatre and music, old<br />
Hollywood glamour inspired her, and<br />
she spent much of her time as a youth,<br />
watching old television shows and movies.<br />
To this day, Lucille Ball remains her favorite<br />
Hollywood icon, as does designer<br />
and couturier, Elsa Schiaparelli.<br />
Melody continued exploring creative<br />
mediums and discovered her love for the<br />
culinary arts and soon found the similarities<br />
between food and fashion and took advantage<br />
of a wealth of inspiration in unlikely places.<br />
Today, Melody incorporates aspects<br />
and inspirations from each<br />
art form into her designs.<br />
