Ff - You are a natural beauty. We’re a bit
curious about your salon/beauty regimen.
Ff - On set you predominantly wear
black. So far is there any particular article
of clothing or outfit (from this set) that you
would want to have to wear in your own
wardrobe?
CG - Well, I actually scored an awesome
grey leather jacket from the show that you’ll
see later in the season. Much love to my
wardrobe department.
Ff - What if your Atrian tattoos were real?
CG - I love wearing tattoos for the show,
but I wouldn’t want anything permanent.
Not anything against them, but I haven’t
found a strong enough reason to get any.
Ff - What kind of accessories do you like?
CG - When it comes to being a girl,
I’m really bad in that department, actually.
Unfortunately, I don’t wear any accessories!
CG - Awe, thank you! As I’ve gotten older,
I have come to appreciate my curly hair!
I used to hate it and would straighten it all
the time. I am all about simple chic. I love
to wash my hair, give it a good comb-thru,
put mousse in it and walk away. My curlyhaired
friends out there will understand just
how much a pain it can be to brush our hair.
Ff - In 2009, you were the winner of for
California Teen, USA and the 2nd runnerup
in the Miss Teen USA pageant. From
a fashion standpoint, tell us about the
process of preparing for the competition
and choosing your competition outfits!
CG - The pageant world is a whole different
ball game. Preparation for a pageant can
be somewhat intense! You have pageant
coaches who help you to walk, talk, stand,
pose, answer questions, etc. One of the fun
parts of preparing for a pageant is definitely
THE SHOPPING! Usually the pageant will
be at least a weekend, so you’ll need some
cute outfits to get you through. My pageant
experience was great. I learned a lot about
myself and most importantly, I had fun.
