Tested on a 2 mm sample plaque under artificial weathering according to PV1303 5 cycles,
CC6OCZ and CC8OCZ with a color change of 4.5 acc. to grey scale; CC7OCN with a color change of 3.5 acc. to grey scale.
³ Deviating from ISO 37 standard test piece S2 is tested with a traverse speed of 200 mm/min.
Please note:
Frozen stresses in Polycarbonate (PC) may cause stress cracking in2-component applications with PC and COPEC ® .
COPEC ®
VS/MR/AD1-Series – Silky surface,
chemical resistance and adhesion to ABS, PC und ABS/PC
MATERIAL ADVANTAGES:
excellent adhesion in coinjection moulding
(depending on geometry and processing
optimum grip
Resistance against skin oil, sunscreens and
olive oil
2-component insert moulding is possible
outstanding colorability with excellent colorstability
pleasing haptics (Soft-Touch),
soft and silky surface
PROCESSING:
processing on 2K injection moulding machines
mould temperature: 40° C - 50° C
low back pressure
avoid high shear force
pre-drying for min. 3 h at 80° C is recommended..
processing temperature: max. 230 °C
low to medium injection velocity (pressure)
Description peel test (according to "Renault D41 1916" standard)
In the below represented test setup the peel force is measured by a tensile testing machine in N/mm in dependence
of the path, the upper cramp of the tensile testing machine puts back. This pass is called peel path. Therein the
stretching proportion of the TPE is contained.
Test piece dimensions: Thermoplastic part: 130 x 22 x 2 mm, TPE-part: 130 x 20 x 2 mm
