Ladies and Gentlemen, Dear Guests,<br />
We welcome you in <strong>Krynica</strong>-Zdrój.<br />
<strong>Krynica</strong>-Zdrój is a well-know health resort with over <strong>20</strong>0 years of history in which the traditions<br />
of the „Pearl of Polish Spas” meet the rich traditions of winter sports and martial arts.<br />
Here in the interwar era the World Ice Hockey and Luge Championships were held. Also after<br />
the World War II the World and European Championships in Luge were organized here twice.<br />
In <strong>20</strong>01 the new ice hall welcomed the games of the Winter Universiade, hosting the short<br />
track and ice hockey competitions. In <strong>20</strong>06 and <strong>20</strong>08 the Polish Senior, Junior and Cadets<br />
Championships in kick-boxing were held here.<br />
In <strong>20</strong>10 we hosted the Junior Ice Hockey World Championships U-18. In <strong>20</strong>12 in April the Ice<br />
Hockey World Championships will be organized here and in May we will be hosting the Polish<br />
Open Cup in Semi, Light and F<strong>ul</strong>l Contact Kick-Boxing.<br />
I wish all the best to all the competitors participating in the games and reaching their goals in<br />
the Fair Play spirit.<br />
I hope all the Visitors will remember our resort as a place of the unforgettable emotions which<br />
the Polish Open Kick-Boxing Cup will bring. I wish you a pleasant stay and a true sport holiday.<br />
