Thanks to a partnership with the International Federation<br />

of <strong>Library</strong> Associations and Institutions (IFLA), a<br />

Campaign <strong>for</strong> the World’s Libraries is reaching the<br />

international library community. To date, more than 20<br />

countries have joined the world campaign by signing<br />

international trademark agreements. These include<br />

Armenia, Australia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Brazil, Bulgaria,<br />

Canada, the Caribbean, Georgia, Iceland, Italy, Japan,<br />

Kazakhstan, Korea, Mexico, Moldova, Nepal, Nigeria,<br />

Portugal, Serbia, Singapore, Turkey, and Venezuela. The<br />

@ your library ® logo is being translated into all of these<br />

countries’ respective languages. Artwork, in<strong>for</strong>mational<br />

materials and a consumer-oriented video have been<br />

translated into Spanish, as well.<br />

Sharpen Your Marketing Skills<br />

3M <strong>Library</strong> Systems, a founding partner in the @ your<br />

library ® campaign, and AASL have put together a<br />

package of materials to help school library media<br />

specialists prepare multi-year marketing plans using the<br />

be used to train others to lead discussions or can be<br />
