2013 PRIMARY MASTER OF MEDICINE (ANAESTHESIOLOGY) EXAMINATION
Written Exam Date: 29 – 30 August 2013
Viva Exam Date: 16 -18 September 2013
Application Closing Date: Friday, 19 July 2013, 12 noon
The Primary M.Med (Anaesthesiology) examination administered by the Division of Graduate Medical
Studies (DGMS) will be held once a year.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
1. All applicants must have a minimum of MBBS qualification.
2. There will be 2 sections for the Primary M.Med (Anaesthesiology) examination (Written and viva).
Candidates will be informed whether they will proceed to the viva section, upon receiving their
written examination results.
Application
Application forms for the Primary M.Med (Anaesthesiology) examination are obtainable from DGMS’s
office or downloadable from the DGMS website http://www.med.nus.edu.sg/dgms . The following
supporting documents, together with the application form and payment must be submitted to DGMS
by the closing date.
1. Completed Primary M.Med Exam application form
2. 1 passport-sized photograph
3. Certified true copy of following documents:
a) Basic medical degree certificate (MBBS)
b) NRIC – for locals / Permanent Resident
c) Employment Pass and Passport – for foreigners (residing in Singapore)
d) Passport – for foreigners (residing outside Singapore)
4. Fee payments via Cheque/Bank draft or Credit/Debit Card ONLY.
*For cheque payments, please submit 2 separate cheques
FEES**
All fees must be made via cheques/ bank drafts made payable to ‘National University of Singapore’
or credit/debit card ONLY. The following fees must be paid at the time of application.

WITHDRAWAL FROM THE EXAMINATION
Notice of withdrawal from the M.Med examination must be given in writing to DGMS.
a) If written notice of withdrawal is received by the application closing date, a refund, less the
application fee of S$40.00 will be made.
b) If the candidate fails to attend the examination for any reason, no refund will be administered.

CLOSING DATE
All applications and fees must reach DGMS by the closing date. Late applications, incomplete
applications, missing photographs, uncertified documents, incorrect fee payments, applications
received without fee payment and applications received through fax will not be entertained and will be
returned to sender. Please check carefully before submitting.
