Data Required to Create a ROAINST Record
The following table requirements are necessary to start up a clean instance and
create the first ROAINST record.

Keep the row for DEFALT or DEF; the rest can be deleted*

Keep the row for DEFALT or DEF; the rest can be deleted*
RTVTGRP
Keep the row for DEFALT or DEF; the rest can be deleted*

Keep the X row; the rest can be deleted*
RTVTRST
Keep the S and E rows; the rest can be deleted*
STVTERM
The current term must exist.
*Only one row needs to be kept in the table so that it can be associated with the ROAINST
record. The rows listed above have been suggested for ease and consistency. If you choose to keep
a different row, that will not cause a problem. You can always create additional rows in the
tables later, change the values on ROAINST and delete the now-obsolete seed rows.
Sequence Generator Maintenance
SCT Banner Financial Aid uses an Oracle sequence to generate one-up sequence
numbers in several tables in the Budget, Tracking and Packaging Group Assignment
rules portion of the system. This sequence is called ROSSLCT and is used for
internal sequence numbers that are stored in the following tables in the database.
