Other services that received mostly “good” ratings include family planning, senior
citizen’s services and legal services. The distribution between fair and poor is fairly
even for seniors and legal services. One resident commented that the family clinic is
pretty good and that more education regarding sexual transmitted diseases was needed.
With regards to senior citizen’s services, residents pointed to the need for activities
outside of the immediate community such as trips to restaurants, arts events and movies.
As for legal services, residents said the services exist; however, the services are
restricted too much and residents are unable to take advantage of the legal advice.

Only one service received mostly “fair” responses, youth development. Some residents
said they wanted something like a Boys and Girls Club so the children could direct their
efforts into specific activities. They also pointed out the programs tend to be short-term
and they need longer-term commitments in order to benefit from the youth programs.
