New for this year, Civia introduces the Bryant, a steel, drop-bar commuter equipped to handle tough urban slogs or weekend camping getaways. Loring Park Hyland Lake Park Reserve 03 CIVIA WE ARE WHERE WE RIDE Bryant Avenue The Twin Cities is a region sprinkled with countless neighborhoods and parks. Many of these places are so integral to our experience of living, riding and working in the metro area that we named our models after them. Although our bikes were inspired by specific places, their appeal is timeless and universal. So if you’re ever visiting the Twin Cities, come share the pleasure we experience daily by touring our wonderful parks, preserves and lakeside trails. Remember, no matter how beautiful you find the scenery, it looks that much better when you’re riding a Civia. Hyland Lake Park Reserve Our inaugural model, the Hyland, was named for this beautiful preserve. With miles of bike, run and ski trails winding past pristine lakes, rolling prairies and verdant woodlands, Hyland Lake Park Reserve is a favorite year-round retreat for the staff at Civia. Because our offices are located on the park’s southern edge, we have the pleasure of commuting along these trails nearly every day. Midtown Greenway Linden Hills Charming, yet sophisticated, this Southwest Minneapolis neighborhood retains a small-town feel in the heart of the big city. Tucked between Lake Calhoun and Lake Harriet, the streets of this urban village are lined with fashionable cafés, restaurants and boutiques. A short hop from the Grand Rounds National Scenic Byway, Linden Hills is a perfect place to relax after a ride along the 50-mile bike trail. Our new bike, the Linden, reflects the elegant simplicity and refined sensibilities of this idyllic corner of the city. Bryant Avenue We named our newest top-end model, the Bryant, after this culturally diverse urban lane. Spanning across Minneapolis, Bryant Avenue is a major north-south corridor through the heart of the city. Much more than a connector for cyclists, this avenue offers riders homey breakfast spots, chic cafés, quirky corner grocers and coops, baseball diamonds, tennis courts and after-hours hot spots. Linden Hills Loring Park Perched on the southern edge of downtown Minneapolis, Loring Park is an urban oasis where tree-lined bike and pedestrian trails wind around a small lake. Art museums, theaters, scores of restaurants, a university and colleges surround the historic park, making it a cultural center. The sophisticated qualities of this neighborhood are reflected in the Loring, a perky errand-runner that offers elegance, fun and just the right touch of big-city attitude. Midtown Greenway Our Midtown model was inspired by this vital bicycle freeway. Built atop an old railroad bed, this major cycling artery connects the western suburbs with the Chain of Lakes, Uptown, south Minneapolis and the Mississippi River. Along its broad stretch, cyclists, runners and walkers can access everything the city has to offer, from lakeside picnic grounds and summer concerts to diverse ethnic cuisine, clubs and vibrant nightlife.
