Since year 2002, 3,000 copies of Magic Wave printed monthly and
distributed mainly in Bali, Java and Lombok. Our distribution also covering
surf shops, surf spots, restos and cafes in surf cities from Aceh to Rote Island.
Magic Wave PDF soft copies can be downloaded through www.magicwave.
org. As per January 2011, visitors in our web reached 3,000 per monthh from
42 countries.
As free publication Magic Wave welcomes any contributors for photo, news
and updates from anyone who likes to share passion about waves and good

As we come to the 11th month of the year, we surely know
who has won the ISC tour. and that goes to Marlon. He’s been
very strong from the begining of the tour had lead the rank
all the way through. Congrats ... !
Anothe highlight in this edition is the Rip Curl Surf & Music
festival which like years nefore has always been the biggest
party of the year and Magic Wave is stoked to be part of it.
We also cover the Kuta karnival where we throw in MSC as
part of this big yearly annual event.
Ups & downs as live would be, we have to bring out the sad
news also. Mr Rizani passsed away this month, and that left us
with the deep sadness. may he Rest In Peace.
As we go to print this edition, the big swell (supposedly the
biggest of the year) is just hitting Bali coast) Gotta wait till
next month to put those pics in.

Kali ini Magicwave kedatangan
tamu dari Surabaya., tapi sudah
cukup lama di Bali. Namanya
Kadek Reza Novanta Putra.
Cowok kelahiran Gresik ini
ternyata masih duduk di bangku
kuliah di salah satu kampus di
Denpasar di Jurusan IT. Reza
sendiri hobbynya membaca,
Basket, Logic (maksudnya sesuatu
yang berhubungan dengan
logika ) emang yang lain
ga pake logika ya?? Heheee..
ternyata maksudnya computer,
tapi yang paling suka
adalah adventure. Selain itu
ia pernah mengikuti kegiatan
tentang lingkungan, seperti
kegiatan Go Green . ( wahh
ternyata dia peduli lingkungan
ya hehe… ).
Salah satu production house
juga pernah ia ikuti sejak
dia masih SMA kelas II.
Menurut Reza di production
House yang pernah ia
gabung, merupakan wadah
dimana aspirasi kritik tentang
Pemerintah dapat di
visualisasikan melalui film.
Saat ini Reza menyukai
clothing, ia bekerja di salah
satu clothing milik orang
Jepang yang berada di
Bali. Tujuan Reza datang ke
Office MW untuk bertukar
pendapat tentang Goal nya
untuk kedepannya. Ia ingin
membuat komunitas clothing
di Bali atau bahkan seluruh
Indonesia. Karena ia merasa
komunitas yang sudah pernah
ada seperti tidak terdengar
lagi eksistensinya. Oleh
karena itu ia ingin membentuk
suatu komunitas yang
berkomitmen. Ok, deh. Yukk
sama-sama Kita doakan ya
semoga keinginnanya dapat
tercapai. Thankyou ya Reza
udah datang ke Kantor MW.
