FMHS <strong>Annual</strong> <strong>Report</strong> 2011<br />
Faculty Purchasing Committee<br />
The Committee shall:<br />
(a) Recommend to the Dean of Faculty for approval on purchase of laboratory/teaching<br />
equipment, lab consumables and special services for undergraduate/postgraduate<br />
programmes with a total not exceeding RM20,000 per item.<br />
(b) Recommend to the UTAR Purchasing Committee and supported by the Dean of<br />
Faculty for approval on purchase of laboratory/teaching equipment, lab consumables and<br />
special services for undergraduate/postgraduate programmes with a total value above<br />
RM20,000 per item.<br />
(c) Recommend to the Director of Institute of Postgraduate Studies and Research for<br />
approval on purchase of research equipment, consumables and special services for<br />
research grant projects with a total not exceeding RM20,000 per item.<br />
(d) Recommend to the UTAR Purchasing Committee and supported by the Director of<br />
Institute of Postgraduate Studies and Research for approval on purchase of research<br />
equipment, consumables and special services for research grant projects with a total<br />
value above RM20,000 per item.<br />
