Ahead <strong>of</strong> the club’s annual Family Fun Day<br />
in March, the players and coaches had the<br />
opportunity to ‘test drive’ the slides and rides<br />
at Adventure World exclusively on 17 February<br />
with the fun park opened for the players from<br />
9:00am before to the entry <strong>of</strong> the general<br />
public at 10:00am. After a strenuous 6-day-aweek,<br />
3 month pre-season training schedule,<br />
the players had their first opportunity to just<br />
have some fun before the serious stuff began.<br />
Of course, the important task <strong>of</strong> ‘testing’ the<br />
slides was taken very seriously. Ryley Dunn<br />
was the winner <strong>of</strong> the giant slide final with a<br />
special mention going to Channel 10’s Lachy<br />
Reid who joined in the fun but never really<br />
challenged in any <strong>of</strong> the qualifying heats.
