the Dockers Home<br />

Quirky camp facts:<br />
Whilst on the road for the AFL Community<br />
Camp in the Peel Region the <strong>Fremantle</strong><br />
<strong>Football</strong> <strong>Club</strong> had a travelling party <strong>of</strong> 70<br />
and logistically it was a feat on its own:<br />
Over the 3 days, 19 buses transported<br />
the team in excess <strong>of</strong> 3000km visiting<br />
8 towns/cities<br />
30 primary and secondary schools<br />
were visited<br />
Over 10,000+ children were seen by<br />
the team<br />
3 superclinics were conducted by the<br />
playing squad<br />
15 footy clinics were held at primary<br />
schools<br />
5,000 team posters were distributed<br />
Over 200 textas were lost during<br />
<strong>au</strong>tograph signings<br />
Over 800 purple footballs were kicked<br />
around<br />
The players attended:<br />
2 <strong>com</strong>munity and corporate breakfasts<br />
1 civic reception<br />
1 <strong>com</strong>munity fair in Harvey<br />
2 junior football registration days<br />
1 <strong>com</strong>munity BBQ<br />
3 <strong>com</strong>munity forums<br />
1 team training session<br />
1 yoga session<br />

The travelling party consumed during<br />

beef and salad, tuna and salad which<br />

185 Muffins<br />
Over 400 bottles <strong>of</strong> Mt Franklin water<br />
were drunk<br />
Over 400 bottles <strong>of</strong> Powerade were<br />
downed by the boys<br />
25 rooms and two houses at Mandurah<br />
Quays Resort were required to<br />
ac<strong>com</strong>modate the travelling party:<br />
Occupied 70 beds<br />
Dirtied 352 towels and 320 sheets<br />
Used 100 cakes <strong>of</strong> soap<br />
Broke 2 glasses<br />
Killed over 2,000 mosquitos<br />
