<strong>Vendor</strong> <strong>Inspection</strong> ensures full compliance during the manufacturing stage of all high value<br />
equipment and plants including: pumps, pipes, vessels and valves. Requirements at each stage of<br />
the client’s purchase order are fully satisfied before the material / equipment leaves the suppliers<br />
premises, resulting in minimum potential for production outages and the subsequent threat to safety,<br />
asset integrity and legislative compliance.<br />
<strong>Vendor</strong> Audits (Prior to PO Award)<br />
Verifies that vendors and their sub-vendors<br />
appear to be capable of fulfilling the<br />
requirements of the purchase order.<br />
Expediting<br />
Expediting ensures that the vendor delivers<br />
on time and to all relevant standards and<br />
specifications set out in the scope of work by the<br />
client. The Expediter will:<br />
• Monitor and report conformance to relevant<br />
standards, codes, specifications and specific<br />
Supply Chain Management requirements<br />
• Identify / resolve bottlenecks at all levels<br />
• Verify / confirm information relevant to the<br />
project<br />
• Evaluate progress to date and assist the<br />
vendor / sub-vendors to meet required<br />
delivery dates.<br />
New Build Equipment <strong>Inspection</strong><br />
<strong>Oceaneering</strong> Inspectors carry out impartial<br />
inspections of equipment to guarantee<br />
conformance to clients’ standards, codes,<br />
specifications and specific scope of work<br />
requirements as stated within the Purchase<br />
Order.<br />
Mill <strong>Inspection</strong> & Surveillance<br />
This service is carried out by specialist<br />
inspectors with in-depth knowledge of forming,<br />
welding, NDT, threading, coatings and loading.<br />
Either full or ad-hoc support services are used to<br />
compliment the expediting process covering all<br />
stages of manufacture and testing.<br />
Hired & Transportable Equipment<br />
This service covers the inspection of hired and<br />
temporary equipment for use in hazardous<br />
areas (offshore/onshore). Inspectors carry out<br />
detailed and impartial inspections of equipment,<br />
in most cases at the vendor’s base prior to<br />
shipping, to ensure compliance with all relevant<br />
legislation, codes, standards and procedures<br />
and in accordance with the manufacturers’<br />
specifications.<br />
Shipping <strong>Inspection</strong><br />
Pre-shipping inspections are part of our contract<br />
requirements when operating on an expedited<br />
/ final inspection assignment. Upon request,<br />
shipping inspection could be carried out at a<br />
particular vendors site anywhere in the world.<br />
