Ordinance 2003-0-137 was adopted on June 16,2003.
BACKGROUND:
Ordinance 2003-0-137 was adopted on June 16,2003, authorizing changes to charges for copies ofpublic
information requested pursuant to the Texas Open Records Act and the federal Freedom ofInformation Act.
This ordinance adds fees to be charged for copies ofnonstandard items using technology not yet in common
use during the time that the original ordinance was passed, such as compact discs and digital video discs.
FINANCIAL IMPACT:
Revenue generated is to cover expenses to the city.
