This lively and generally sunny resort welcomes<br />

pretentiousness of resorts further north!<br />
The ski<strong>in</strong>g is pretty good too with one of the largest<br />

Resort<br />
The ski area spans both sides of the mounta<strong>in</strong> with the very top<br />
giv<strong>in</strong>g access to the hard core area of La Grave. <strong>You</strong>’ll f<strong>in</strong>d some<br />
of the gentlest pistes right at the top and some of the biggest challenges<br />
lead<strong>in</strong>g back to the resort: a great area for skiers of all levels and ages.<br />
The l<strong>in</strong>ear layout results <strong>in</strong> a high score for convenience as nowhere<br />
is far from the nearest lift.<br />
Activities<br />
Paraglid<strong>in</strong>g, quad bik<strong>in</strong>g, helicopter trips to Alpe d’Huez, fitness centre,<br />
ice r<strong>in</strong>k, heated outdoor swimm<strong>in</strong>g pool, bowl<strong>in</strong>g alley, c<strong>in</strong>ema and<br />
‘Tank<strong>in</strong>g’. Good shopp<strong>in</strong>g too.<br />

Après-ski<br />
The excellent restaurants vary from take away pizza to top class<br />
