Kreisbahn Aurich were expecting the following for which registrations were unknown: 20 – Io -?- (1998); 37 – Ka
S315UL (1998); 44 – Ka S315UL (1998) & 48 – Ka S328DT (1997).
A number of vehicles, including 14, 47, 49 and 52, carry livery for Jan Klein. It is thought that he was the founder
of the company from which the current fleet was formed. It is possible operations of a sort started 100 years ago.
Additions to 708-OJ-18 – 25. Listed below are the Berlin registered vehicles recorded for Euro Bus Tours (Holiday
Reisen International). Some vehicles within the same fleet carried the legal name Optimal Tours. It is not known
whether there were two concurrent entities or whether one was a replacement for the other. By 1996, those
vehicles which remained, after a period of fleet contraction from around 80 vehicles to approximately 50, were reregistered
with Potsdam (P) registration reflecting the re-location outside of Berlin to Freidrich Ebert Str 90,
Potsdam. An unusual characteristic for the Berlin registered vehicles was the fact that all recorded registrations
ended in ‘4’. The reason for this is unknown – anyone? Livery is dark blue base with green relief and white
lettering. Neoplans have been the staple diet, including what may have been the largest fleet of Skyliners. Now
many of these vehicles have been sold to operators from France to Poland and beyond, many retaining the
distinctive livery. The list below is made from observations from 1994.
